De nieuwe Ally-familie is verkrijgbaar in verschillende modellen en qua uiterlijk geïnspireerd op onze succesvolle Frost-familie, waarbij gebruik is gemaakt van matte, sobere functionele stof die niet gestikt is, maar gequilt met tape. Frost heeft een grotere hoeveelheid isolatie dan Ally, die met zijn afgewogen hoeveelheid verwarmende isolatie van polyester heel licht is om te dragen, zowel op de paardenrug als tijdens activiteiten in de stal.

De rijjas, die aan de voorzijde een tweewegrits heeft en aan de achterzijde een split, houdt je behaaglijk warm wanneer je in het zadel zit. Je past simpelweg de rits voor aan, opent het achtersplit en laat de rijjas neerhangen en je benen verwarmen. Aan de binnenzijde van de rijjas hebben we Uhips praktische oplossing aangebracht: beenbanden die je eenvoudig rond je dijen bevestigd, zodat de rijjas op zijn plaats blijft zitten, ook in galop of als het buiten waait. Andere functies zijn onder andere twee ruime zakken voor je handen met een verwarmende fleecevoering en een rits, een afneembare capuchon en manchetten met polswarmers die je handen beschermen tegen vocht en kou. De kraag is wat hoger en houdt kou en wind buiten.

De paardrijrijjas houdt je zo warm als je zelf wenst, je past gewoon aan wat je eronder draagt. Bekijk bijvoorbeeld de mooie en praktische bodywarmer uit de Ally-familie of onze vele verwarmende tussenlagen van zachte merinowol, die wat ons betreft de beste eigenschappen ter wereld heeft als het gaat om basis- en tussenlagen.

3/3 Polyester 2-layer
2-layer Polyester weave with a matt surface and bonded quilting. The TPU membrane will provide waterprotection and breathability.

100% Polyester
Polyester has exceptional colour resistance and retains colour intensity very well. Other benefits are its high tolerance to many chemicals and extremely low water absorption (for example, when you perspire, the material releases moisture into the air instead of absorbing it. Uhip is aiming to use only recycled polyester in future.

WP: 3 000 mm
Water column is a way of measuring the degree of waterproofness in a garment to understand the garment's ability not to let water through. How high a water column a garment can withstand is also affected by how it is used; a harder and more active use requires more of the material. Therefore, we recommend regular reinforcement with impregnation to ensure the full function of the garment.

MP: 3 000g/m2/24h
Breathability is often measured in a ‘g/m2/24hrs’ measurement. This rating represents the amount of water (or sweat) by weight that can pass through a square metre of fabric over a day. 

PFOA/PFOS free DWR
Fluorine-free water repellent textile finishes to achieve water-repellent effects. 

Insulation:

Uhip does not use down in our garments, but we have used wool or synthetic fibres instead. The benefits of synthetic insulations are that they keep the heat even in wet condition and it dries quickly. The basic principle for all insulations is the same: small spaces in the fibres encapsulate body heat and keep you warm. The more air between the body and the cold, the more effective insulation.

All Uhip products are made with 100% recycled Polyester, 38gsm. Recycled polyester is made from recycled materials (PET and polyester fabrics). By choosing recycled polyester, we can deliver the same technical performance in fibres with a smaller environmental footprint.
