Een halflange, warme en weerbestendige winterrijjas ontworpen voor een actief leven buitenshuis, ongeacht de activiteit en het weer. Gemaakt van een goede hoeveelheid verwarmend synthetisch dons en met een weerbestendige stof, wat betekent dat het geschikt is voor diegenen die veel buiten zijn, ongeacht het weer en de temperatuur. De rijjas heeft voldoende reflecterende details zodat je zichtbaar bent in het donker.

De rijjas heeft een strakke pasvorm. Twijfel je tussen twee maten, of wil je wat extra ruimte voor een tussenlaag, kies dan de grotere maat. Onthoud dat je lucht tussen jezelf en je bovenkleding nodig hebt voor het beste verwarmende effect.

Beschrijving

De doorgestikte rijjas heeft zoals al onze rijjassen slimme functies voor het paardrijden, zoals een tweewegrits aan de voorkant, een hoge split aan de achterkant en beenbanden aan de binnenkant die de rijjas op zijn plaats houden als het waait. De rijjas is ook voorzien van Uhips omvouwbare handwarmers die comfortabel over je handen kunnen worden getrokken als je de teugels vasthoudt.

In de Ice-familie vind je winterkleding en paardrijkleding die geschikt is voor als je veel buiten bent, omdat beide erg warm zijn en bestand zijn tegen regen.

Met de sportieve stijl van Ice en dankzij de vele reflectoren op de kledingstukken ben je zichtbaar in het donker. De kledingstukken in deze familie hebben een aansluitende pasvorm, maar bieden toch bewegingsvrijheid en voldoende ruimte om er een tussenlaag onder te kunnen dragen en voor wat extra lucht. De lucht eronder wordt verwarmd door lichaamswarmte en is belangrijk voor de functie.

Binnen de Ice-familie zijn de modellen winterjas, winterjack en thermorok verkrijgbaar. Deze modellen zijn ook verkrijgbaar voor kinderen en voor heren het jack, de lange parka en de lange jas.

Shell:

7/5 Bonded Polyester 2-layer
Polyester Ripstop with a matt surface and bonded quilting. The TPU membrane will provide high waterprotection and breathability.

100% Polyester
Polyester has exceptional colour resistance and retains colour intensity very well. Other benefits are its high tolerance to many chemicals and extremely low water absorption (for example, when you perspire, the material releases moisture into the air instead of absorbing it. Uhip is aiming to use only recycled polyester in future.

WP: 7 000 mm
Water column is a way of measuring the degree of waterproofness in a garment to understand the garment's ability not to let water through. How high a water column a garment can withstand is also affected by how it is used; a harder and more active use requires more of the material. Therefore, we recommend regular reinforcement with impregnation to ensure the full function of the garment.

MP: 5000g/m2/24h
Breathability is often measured in a ‘g/m2/24hrs’ measurement. This rating represents the amount of water (or sweat) by weight that can pass through a square metre of fabric over a day.

Taped seams
Essentially, taping seams enhance the waterproof protection of clothing. Needle stitching leaves tiny holes in the garment through which water can seep when worn in wet conditions; taped seams prevent this from happening.

Bionic Finish ECO Fluorocarbon free DWR
Fluorine-free water repellent textile finishes of RUDOLF GROUP to achieve water-repellent effects. Many plants have a natural water repellency. BIONIC-FINISH® ECO absorbs this effect so that we can use it for our products.

Insulation:
Uhip does not use down in our garments, but we have used wool or synthetic fibres instead. The benefits of synthetic insulations are that they keep the heat even in wet condition and it dries quickly. The basic principle for all insulations is the same: small spaces in the fibres encapsulate body heat and keep you warm. The more air between the body and the cold, the more effective insulation.
