De Nordic Mid Coat Mood Indigo valt wat kleiner qua maat. Neem een grotere maat als je twijfelt tussen twee maten. Onthoud dat je lucht tussen jezelf en je bovenkleding nodig hebt voor het beste verwarmende effect.

Beschrijving

De winterrijjas voor ruiters is gemaakt van comfortabele materialen en heeft slimme en praktische functies die grondig zijn getest en ontwikkeld om koude dagen in de stal en te paard zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Om in de rijjas te kunnen paardrijden, heeft de rijjas een tweewegrits aan de voorkant, een hoge split aan de achterkant en beenbanden aan de binnenkant om de paardrijrijjas op zijn plaats te houden. De omvouwbare handwarmers van Uhip kunnen comfortabel over je handen worden getrokken als je de teugels vasthoudt.

Populaire kortere rijjas voor ruiters en paardenliefhebbers die het snel koud hebben en die de knielange doorgestikte rijjas van Uhip te lang vinden. Deze is net zo warm als de Nordic Coat maar dan 15 cm korter.

De kledingstukken die we Nordic noemen zijn echt warm, je blijft warm tot ongeveer -15 graden en de isolatie behoudt zijn functie, zelfs in vochtige klimaten.

De paardrijkleding van de Nordic-familie houdt je niet alleen warm, maar beschermt je tot op zekere hoogte ook tegen neerslag. Zo kun je buitenactiviteiten in guur weer aan, zelfs als deze voornamelijk tegen de kou zijn. Nordic is een familie die bestaat uit een paardrijrijjas (een langer en een korter model), een rijrijjack en een thermorijrok die allemaal een aansluitende, mooie pasvorm hebben zonder te strak te zitten. Ze zijn gewatteerd met brede, volle kanalen en rijke kleuren. De stof heeft een parelmoerachtig, mooi glanzend oppervlak.

Durable and lightweight 2-layer Polyamide material. Polyamides are known for their durability and resistance to wear and tear. They are commonly used in outdoor and performance clothing. Polyamide is a lightweight material that is stronger than polyester in relation to its weight. Also referred to as Nylon. Ripstop construction with a shiny surface makes the garments more resistant to tearing and ripping. PU membrane to provide high water protection and breathability.

Water column is a way of measuring the degree of waterproofness in a garment to understand the garment's ability not to let water through. How high a water column a garment can withstand is also affected by how it is used; a harder and more active use requires more of the material. Therefore, we recommend regular reinforcement with impregnation to ensure the full function of the garment.

Breathability is often measured in a ‘g/m2/24hrs’ measurement. This rating represents the amount of water (or sweat) by weight that can pass through a square metre of fabric over a day.

Taped seams
Essentially, taping seams enhance the waterproof protection of clothing. Needle stitching leaves tiny holes in the garment through which water can seep when worn in wet conditions; taped seams prevent this from happening.

Fluorine-free water repellent textile finishes to achieve water-repellent effects. Many plants have a natural water repellency. BIONIC-FINISH® ECO absorbs this effect so that we can use it for our products.

Insulation:

Uhip does not use down in our garments, but we have used wool or synthetic fibres instead. The benefits of synthetic insulations are that they keep the heat even in wet condition and it dries quickly. The basic principle for all insulations is the same: small spaces in the fibres encapsulate body heat and keep you warm. The more air between the body and the cold, the more effective insulation.

All Uhip products are made with 100% recycled Polyester, 38gsm. Recycled polyester is made from recycled materials (PET and polyester fabrics). By choosing recycled polyester, we can deliver the same technical performance in fibres with a smaller environmental footprint.
