Beschrijving

De hoge kraag en verstelbare capuchon zorgen ervoor dat je goed beschermd bent tegen regen en wind. De rijjas heeft manchetten die je naar beneden kunt vouwen met polswarmers die je handen of handschoenen beschermen tegen kou en vocht. De twee splitten met rits die geopend kunnen worden, zorgen ervoor dat je in het zadel kunt zitten terwijl de rijjas je billen bedekt tijdens het rijden.

De rijjas heeft een grote zak op de rug die perfect is voor het opbergen van halstertouw, teugels, je wanten of andere accessoires. De zak kan ook veranderd worden in een opbergtas waarin je de rijjas kunt opvouwen.

Vul aan met de bijpassende Regular Sport regen- en windrok om ook je benen droog te houden.

10/10 Polyamide, 100% Polyamide Ripstop with shiny surface, PU membrane.
Durable and lightweight 2-layer Polyamide material. Polyamides are known for their durability and resistance to wear and tear. They are commonly used in outdoor and performance clothing. Polyamide is a lightweight material that is stronger than polyester in relation to its weight. Also referred to as Nylon.  Ripstop construction with a shiny surface makes the garments more resistant to tearing and ripping. Printed PU membrane to provide high water protection and breathability.

Water column is a way of measuring the degree of waterproofness in a garment to understand the garment's ability not to let water through. How high a water column a garment can withstand is also affected by how it is used; a harder and more active use requires more of the material. Therefore, we recommend regular reinforcement with impregnation to ensure the full function of the garment.

MP: 10 000g/m2/24h
Breathability is often measured in a ‘g/m2/24hrs’ measurement. This rating represents the amount of water (or sweat) by weight that can pass through a square metre of fabric over a day. 

Taped seams
Essentially, taping seams enhance the waterproof protection of clothing. Needle stitching leaves tiny holes in the garment through which water can seep when worn in wet conditions; taped seams prevent this from happening.

Bionic Finish ECO Fluorocarbon free DWR 
Fluorine-free water repellent textile finishes to achieve water-repellent effects. Many plants have a natural water repellency. BIONIC-FINISH® ECO absorbs this effect so that we can use it for our products.

Insulation: 

Uhip does not use down in our garments, but we have used wool or synthetic fibres instead. The benefits of synthetic insulations are that they keep the heat even in wet condition and it dries quickly. The basic principle for all insulations is the same: small spaces in the fibres encapsulate body heat and keep you warm. The more air between the body and the cold, the more effective insulation.
